SL/R230: Passenger door won't respond to central locking

Passenger door won't respond to central locking
I have a SL500 2003 and the passenger door won't open when pressing the central locking key fob. The driver door opens but not the passenger door. If i open it manually i can lock it with the central locking fob! Any suggestions?

I have not had this problem, but a quick search uncovered this note...try this.
"You can change the program on the key by holding the lock+unlock at the same time for 10 sec or so till the light on the key flashes. It toggles the mode between unlocking driver's door only and unlocking all doors on first click."
