ABC hose connectors

Just replaced my pulsation dampeners. Two of the hose connectors in the rear are now leaking around the o-rings--probably because of being jostled when replacing the dampener. I would like to replace the o-rings, but I don't know how the connectors come apart. Sure don't want to mess them up.

ABC hydraulic hose connectors

Here's what they look like. How do I get them apart?

These two connectors are leaking.

From my very limited experience with these connectors, I would put something solid above the pipes the connectors connect to, then firmly push the hose connectors upward. Perhaps they are not properly seated.

Mercedes offers a special tool to release these. I have tried with other tools and caused a mess of the lines.
