My phone antenna on the left quarter panel is broken. Since built in cell phones are no longer needed, I expected that someone would come up with the fake antenna to replace broken ones. Used antennae on e-bay go for about $100, which is way too much for a piece, which only purpose is to cover big hole in the quarter panel. Any suggestions?

Just have the hole fixed and repair. No fake antennas that I know.

It's also used for TeleAid, although that is also useless on your car since it has the defunct analog system. So all you need is the screw-on "mast" part? yeah, it's about $100. An alternative might be to see if you can find another screw-on cap that will fit the threads (I think they are a standard for that type of antenna). Maybe a good radio or electronics supply shop could help.
