DTC for TPS. Where do I star to look to fix?
I got a Icarsoft MB II and ran the auto check for codes. The TPS system is not sending measurements to the screen for all 4 tires. I am also getting a message that says the screens are malfunctioning. This is the only code I got on the dash from the Icarsoft. What do I need to start looking at?
BTW I also got a message for 2 areas that the unit could not communicate with the ECU and to check connection, if the car had the system and was ignition on. All were good, why no readings?

There's been an "A" and I think a "B", so with this thread I've arrived at Exhibit C of why purchasing an iCarsoft product in lieu of Star Diagnosis is a mistake.
Spyder has retrieved a fault code which I believe does not exist in Mercedes literature (Rodney, Alex, please correct me if I am mistaken). With Star Diagnosis a proper code would surely have been reported, and instructions on how to troubleshoot and correct the issue would be at Spyder's fingertips. If needed, electrical schematics and part locating aids would be available as well.

B111C is a valid DTC for the ICM:

The SDS diagnostics steps take you through using the special CAN bus diagnostic tools to test it. I think what I'd do is start at the TPMS moduel N88 (in the trunk, left side, by the PSE module) and make sure its wiring is good. Honestly, I can't see how any work on the SBC could affect this.

B111C is indeed not a valid fault code. But it is a valid event code. Unlike SDS, Spyder's iCarsoft device fails to distinguish faults from events (!), evidently, and I was mislead by the text which describes the event.

I would tend tend to agree. But you never know with electronics. The issue appeared after it was in the shop and they had to do some re-sets with STAR.
Found this thread here. Any thoughts on fixes that don't cost a grand just for the part?

What are your symptoms? And do you have the "highline" TPMS where it give you individual pressures, or just the simple one that only tells you when "some" tire is low?

I just pulled fuse 70 5 amp from behind the passenger seat. It was good so I put it back and now the problem is solved. Not sure if it reset the module or what but it sure was a quick pleasant fix. 2005 SL65. Just an FYI.
