No Aux-in jack in glove box
Hi All
I unfortunately do not have an AUX in socket in my car (no it is not in the glove box!)
I have not NTG2 command unit which has a CD mutlichanger behind the passenger seat connected to it.
Q. I have looked on ebay and there are lots of connectors that are designed to plug into the back of the command unit, however as I have a multichanger will the socket do you think be used already?
Is there another way to connect an Aux in?

Okay, I've just bought a FM transmitter just now whilst I sort out the Bluetooth adaptor, ps how do you manually tune to a radio station on the Mercedes command system?

So I bought an adaptor plug that was supposed to be for my car, I took the command unit out and found no connections unfortunately at the back so obviously have a different model. I am thinking I need to get into the CD autochanger to fit an Aux plug. I wish I had one in the glove box as I can see its going to be a few hours to resolve this one.

I don't know the R230 as well as other, so i may be very wrong about this, but I think its NTG 1 COMAND was split into two components - the screen in the dash, and another unit elsewhere in the car (in addition to the NAV disc unit being in the trunk). I know some models have a "media interface unit" in the center console. It sits right under the roof and mirror control switches. Though on second thought, that part might be for the NTG 2.5 units that have the UCI plug in the center console.
If you look at that connector on your radio, there is no antenna connector for FM radio, so somewhere in the car, there must be another module for that. Maybe under the stowage compartment behind the driver's seat?
