Tire pressure monitior
I have a 2004 SL55 AMG; just put new Michelin Sport tires on last week in addition to all new pressure sensors at Discount Tire. My low tire light is on and was on prior to the new sensors. Took it to the Mercedes dealer they told me I need Mercedes sensors for $1,300.00 They said they would work with the system. I find this hard to believe, but I need some input four you members.

Your dealer is giving you :bsflag:
1. OEM Mercedes TPMS should run no more than $300 for all 4. 2. You don't have to have Mercedes brand sensors. |

What about disconnecting the batteries for a few minutes so the car stands without any power just in case something needs a reset?
Since the low tire light was on prior to the new sensors and still is on after the new sensors is what makes me think of this Other members here knows if this is worth trying at all |
