SL/R230: Can't Access "Convenience" Sub-Menu

Can't Access "Convenience" Sub-Menu
For some reason I can't access the "Convenience" submenu from the "Settings" menu in my '05 SL500. Tried both the up and down arrows and sub menu page buttons. (Trying to access the Easy Exit mode.) What am I dong wrong?

Are you in a ‘stand still’ mode? I’d guess the menu you’re looking for may be blocked while driving (or giving the system the impression that you are).

No, I'm doing it parked in the driveway at an idle or with the engine off. "Resetting to Factory" is as far as it goes.
