2005 SL500 Transmission Service question

My question is this:
I am going to be doing the 60k mile filter change this weekend. It's my understanding that only about 5 qts will come out from the pan - and the torque converter may or may not have a plug. I have also read that this may / may not be a big deal and go with what you can get out / replace with new filter and fresh fluid and you're good.

But I was wonder as folks on this forum often do... If I do not have a plug on the TC, is it possible to get another few qts out by running the engine a bit (with the car in park) and if the transmission push additional fluid out? I would not think that running the car with the transmission in park would harm anything if it was only for a few seconds and if there was not movement within the transmission.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

David

There is a flush procedure for the 722.6:

You could do something similar.

Not sure how much of the same transmission is on C63, but the general idea is the same in this video, about half way through. He drops the pan, replaces the filter, heats up the transition to a certain temperature and so on...
