I went out to my 2006 SL55 today and saw a puddle under my drivers side front tire. Green color. And it was oily around my ABC tank. The lid and dip stick was on. I have read that when a accumulator blows that it can cause fluid to come out of tank. I started car and no lights. Car raised and lowered fine with button. Checked fluid level and was a little low. I drove it and it seemed fine. I have 104,000 miles. I changed the rear one last summer because it was bad, but didn't changed front. Am I correct thinking I need to do front one? Any other ideas?
If you look at the dip stick for the ABC oil level you will see two marks: one for with the engine running, run for it off. If one or more accumulators have failed, the difference you measure with the engine running or off will be less than those marks.

With the car off and the in the raised mode it was about an inch below the bottom notch on dip stick.
It's not difficult to put the car up on a jack, remove the front left wheel, remove the front fender liner and have a look at the valve block and associated hoses. If you have a leak, and it continues, you run the risk of running the pump dry and that's not good. If the leak is slow, via a split hose, and you run the system, you run the risk of blowing the hose wide open due to the pressure.

Yeah, don't mess around. It's a Pandora's box of issues that could happen by running the pump dry. Don't drive until you fix.
I have ordered a new accumulator, it will be here tomorrow. I'm going to change it and then I'll look for any other trouble spots. Thank you guys for your help.
