SL/R230: Parking assist center recessed
Those living in LA will be familiar with the numerous potholes all over the city. The other day I went through a massive pothole which shook the car quite a bit. The result was that the rear right parking sensor got dislodged and moved inside the bumper. Every time I put the car in reverse I can hear the proximity sensor.
Am I correct in thinking that I need to remove the bumper to fix this? It looks like a very long job. I found the below video. Is that the correct way for a 2009 SL550 or is there a simpler way to remove the rear bumper?
Thanks
