Date won't hold

Hi,

I have a 2003 sl55. At times I am able to set the month, date, and year, then after driving for a few minutes it reverts to 1.04.2000. The time remains true and in sync with the dashboard digital clock. Any ideas?

I am OCD and this just drives me nuts!

It seems you may not have set it to "Manually set time". It seems the clock is set to "sync with COMAND", and if you have removed the command and installed an aftermarket unit, then the clock goes haywire.
Check those settings and report here.
