White Spyder

My driver side window only goes down 3-4 inches. Looking from the underside I could see white plastic bits in the drains indicating that something has broken. I have the replacement regulator but to access the retaining bolts on the window I need to cut the old cables to get the window down. Is there a reset process to do when I install the new regulator so that the window fully opens and closes?

You should be able to just normalize it like you would do for a battery change. Roll if fully up and hold the switch for a second or two. If it won't go up fully, you might have to denormalize by disconnecting the consumer battery or using DAS first.
