There will also now be a further review shortly on their higher end spec diagnostic tool coming called the:

I will look to compare this against my Autel Maxicom 808.
I also have a Topdon AD900BT, which appears to be comparable to the Launch Pro Elite X431. As far as it applies to my MB, it does no more than the Elite 2.0 MB. In fact, it is eerily the same. It covers 100+ car brands, some of which I've never heard. It has 30+ service functions but not all services are covered for all car brands -- very confusing.
For your review of the Elite 2.0 MB, I would find it helpful having a better understanding of the services it's capable of performing, how these service procedures work, when they are used, and do they do the job. For example, it's supposed to be capable of oil service reset-- can it do this? I haven't tried this yet, but my Topdon has oil service reset, but it does not work for MB.
The Elite 2.0 MB was able to code off auto start/stop. Any useful coding capabilities would be useful to know.
An annoying attribute of the Launch coding menus is the language. It's as if info taken from MB's original German documentation was translated into Chinese, then into English, and then some of it back into German. Some status info is confusing, such as use of the terms "present" and "not present". Does this mean the feature doesn't exist, or is the feature set in a particular way?
As far as this particular scanner goes, its greatest advantage is that it's MB only (although it can have other vehicles installed). I bought the very same Launch scanner for my BMW for the convenience of having one in each car.
Good luck! If any of us can assist, please post a request.

P.S There should be a discount for us to use to.
