Looking at CPO SL550's - what do I need to know?

I am looking at CPO'd SL550's with under 20k on the clock. Most of the available rigs are 2013 / 14 models with P1, Driver Assist and Magic Sky. Are there any specific options or watch outs I should be looking for? Is Magic Sky a must have option or just ok?

I got it but only because it was on the car. If I was ordering new probably wouldn't get it. In my opinion Drivers assist is a must.

IMO distronic plus is a must. Also the ride will be much smoother with ABC. I have magic sky only because it came with the car. It's a nice to have feature to make you feel you are riding an extraordinary car, but not very useful.

agree, I have ABC and love it, very smooth ride and level cornering, distronic is a must, the B&O stereo is a waste of money, magic sky is nice I like it, great car overall, you will love it

Does the ABC allow you to lower the ride height like it did in the R230? If so, can one use lowering links like the older cars or do you have to get an electronic module?

Same as the R230 and you can use links. Try adjustableairride.com. Pricey but the best quality. Not sure if they match the R230 links.

I personally suggest an ELM though. A single of tires cost more and with an ELM no alignment/camber adjustment is needed,
