What's leather

2013 SL550. I know the seats are leather, but what else? I'm getting conflicting info and just bought the car.
Thanks

For the R231, the answer is simple but it depends on what you have, at least for the US version.

The 2013 SL550 came in 3 versions. Base leather, nappa leather and Designo.

Only the Designo has an all-leather interior. If you bought yours used you may not know, so there is a quick way to check.
If your headliner is Ultra-suede (called Dynamica) you have a Designo interior.
If you don't, it will be fabric that means the following is leather: seats, center armrest, rear center console and arm rests. Also steering wheel, airbag cover and shiftknob insert.

The following is made out of MB-Tex (leatherette, but high quality and falsely assumed to be leather by many): Dash, console sides, rear compartment, hard-top cover, door panels.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, Mr. Wolf. My headliner is actually some sort of plastic. So would your description still be the same?

Thanks

Yes. I forgot if they were fabric or plastic. It's plastic on the SL.
