Navigation update question
I've searched the forum and can't find an answer:
There is an update to my 2013 Navigation Map which costs $65 from the dealer. BUT, they want $200 to install it. I think the dealer told me it was a disk. (it is a Command system not Garmin).
Anybody know if I could install it myself? Should be simply a matter of inserting it into the CD player

Up dated maps
try another dealer, I do all my service at the dealer and have developed a good relationship with my service advisor. Last time I was having service done there was a supply issue and they updated my maps for free. It’s almost no cost to the dealer and took the tech 10 min to do.

I would think that if you bought the update disk, it would probably come with instructions. If it didn't and you couldn't figure it out, you would always have the option of taking it back to the dealer...
