Meisterschraft or Renntech

Since there is no one on the SL 63 forum I thought I would ask here. Anybody install either of these aftermarket exhausts on the SL?

I don't have one installed, but if I did, I would likely choose the Meisterschaft.

It sounds excellent.

Just bought the Meistershraft. Will update once it gets installed.

Any updates? Curious as to your feedback on the Meistershraft.

I cancelled the order for the Meistershraft and bought the Renntech. Love it. Not too loud, but loud enough to let you hear what is going on when you put your foot in it. Downshifts sound especially good, and no drone at all.

What was the cost difference between the two? Meistershaft is pretty expensive, but if I recall correctly, some of it is titanium.

I got RennTech on mine and it sounds pretty good; never seen or heard a Meisterschaft but they look pretty in the photos.

Sunline,
Interested in selling the O.E. mufflers you removed from your SL63?
I have an interest!

I ordered the RENNtech due to both sound and cost as my deciding factors. I was not looking for an aggressive sound but just wanted a little extra tone when pushing it. I’ve had loud/aggressive exhausts before and it becomes “noise” after the novelty wears off.
Looking at their websites
RENNtech $2,180
Meisterscraft starts at $3,998.

Hope this helps

2014 SL 550 and 2018 GLC 43
I just installed Renntech on my 2014 SL550. Nice modest rumble and no drone at speed. I had Borla's on my C6 Corvette - was raw and loud. Renntech system is more inline with the expectation/sophistication of the SL550. Very easy install with supplied instructions.
