I just picked up my 2015 SL63 yesterday and gave it a solid detail/cleaning. The compartment behind the driver's seat has a little silver button you push and it pops open however, the compartment behind the passenger seat doesn't seem to open or at least I can't figure out how.

Can anyone advise me if I am crazy or if this just doesn't open for some reason?

Was not the hydraulic pump for the roof in the trunk on previous models moved to behind the passenger seat?

Behind the passenger seat are two plastic panels that snap into a plastic cage, which has 8 or 9 bolts securing it over a fuse box and the auxillary battery.
