Napa Leather - Seats only or Dash and door pannels too ?
I ordered my 2018 SL 450 with Napa leather, however, am not sure if its just the seats only or is it also on the Dash and Door Pannels too.
I ordered Ginger Brown Nappa
Thanks in advance for any information !
Phil
PS - My Vehicle is still in Baltimore baking in the sun now for almost 3 weeks , Dealer says its because of DOT certification, however others say its Mercedes call - (for what reason they would put a customers special order on hold is beyong my imagination)

Well, you learn something every day. I wonder why they did the dash in leather? Just doesn't seem like a good move, with sun beating down on it all the time. And, if I never noticed it, sort of seems like a move that many if not most don't appreciate and could pose premature problems in the future. I guess I'm just remembering old 911's with leather dash tops and how the leather would start to shrink, pulling away from the windshield and becoming unsightly. Oh well, I'm sure the more modern techniques will hold up better.
I've been very fortunate for many years, to have always had a private garage to park in, both during the day at work and at home, but I'll start being more diligent from now on, about using my windshield reflector whenever I leave the SL outside for any length of time.
Thanks, Wolf, you are a wealth of knowledge.
