2018 - no Mars Red, no Designo Grey leather
Well, my lease on the 2015 is up soon. Unfortunately - the thing that made me fall in love with the car at first sight isn't available. No Mars Red and no Designo Gray Leather. I was out shopping with my girlfriend for the unicorn SLK she wanted and I saw this SL400 with these colors. I lasted about a week then went back and got it.
I'd consider buying it. I got a great deal on the lease, but the residual is higher than I can buy similar 2015's for already. Also, it got rear ended, so I'm inclined to turn it in rather than keep it. It was repaired fantastically well, but still.
I saw a Jupiter Red AMG GT Coupe - it's a good replacement for Mars Red. But seemingly not available for SL.
No grey leather interior either. I have to go with a darker leather because I wear blue jeans. Just not into black interiors. The grey is wonderful though, dark like a pencil lead.
Decisions, decisions.
