SL/R231: Do our cars have AVC?

Do our cars have AVC?
If they do I can't figure out how to adjust it. Every time I pull up to a traffic light my wife is turning the radio down because she is embarrassed at how loud I have the volume set. I feel any convertible should have it. If we don't have it that's another thing they cheap'd on.

If it is there I cannot find it in my settings.
Kind of sad that such a expensive, high end auto, has some pretty mediocre accessories that work better in much less expensive cars.

Thanks for the reply. 64 reads and only 1 reply. Yes, my C7 Vette had it and I know a lot of other less expensive cars do also. I thought maybe it was just me, that I couldn't figure out how to set or adjust it.

SL's had automatic volume adjustments as long as I can remember. I don't believe there is a setting anymore in the MY17 and up (should be automatically enabled). One the MY13-16, please try to go to the car settings (press the vehicle button or select on screen), then go to the bottom area - system settings - there should be automatic volume control. At least this is where it used to be...

That said, I know the setting was on our 2015 S550 but that Automatic Volume adjustment was a different feature altogether. That was for matching sound volumes between songs, similar to the sound check feature of iPhones...
You are referring to speed depended volume adjustment.
