SL500 Brake Upgrade - Looking for Advice
I have a 2013 SL500 (R231) and would like to upgrade the braking system. There appears to be lots of options for S series and earlier Sls, but not much I can find for the R231.
I also note that Brembo offer kits for the SLK55 that would be about right for size (Front 380 mm with 6 pistons; rear 345 with 4 pistons).
There are also several other kits offered by Brembo for the R230, but nothing for the R231.
Is the R231 really much different from other similar Mercs?
Would appreciate any advice from those who have done a brake upgrade on the R231

I think "MB/Brembo" offers (380x36) only for "W219 Cls55" & "R230 Sl55" with code #: "030/-98",,
your Front Rotors are (360x36), and Rears are (320x24), isn't..?

Brake Upgrade
There isn't likely ever going to be enough demand for someone to create a big brake kit for our cars. If you absolutely HAVE to do it, seems to me you couldn't do much better than the R231 SL63 or SL65 brakes. There ought to be few "donor cars" out there by now.
