Has MB ever offered R231 carpeted floor mats in any colors other than black, beige or gray? If so, did they ever do a brown?

Another question, can anyone recommend a supplier of very high quality, carpeted floor mats, similar to factory mats? Thanks!

I had coco mats in all my earlier Porsches and I loved them, but in the SL, I want something that looks more factory. I’m getting the Silk Beige/Espresso Brown interior and MB, in their inimitable brilliance, has made the carpets the Silk Beige color, which I feel is truly insane. They have two colors in this interior, wouldn’t you THINK they could use the Espresso Brown for the carpets? If not for the carpets themselves, then for the frigging floor mats? Nope!
Just another case of MB doing something that makes no sense to much of anyone. Anyway, I’m going to go with a nice, dark brown, carpeted mat that closely matches the dash.

Replaced beige with black. Originally concerned about not looking appropriate. Looks fine. Worries for naught.
