hey, does this mean that my neighborhood tower shop - where they wheel floor jacks around an open-air lot, and they've jacked up my W209s, W211, W203s and W202 - won't be able to jack up my R231 without this "puck"??

So got the puck for the jack. So the rectangle part only goes into the specified location on the
car about maybe 1/2 an inch. Is that how it's supposed to work? |

If you are a DYI guy, don't be cheap and get the right stuff. The rectangular part is what makes it non-slip.

Thanks for the advise. Don’t know how I made it to 65 YO and owned a business with 685 employees in three countries without your help...... :)
Of course you can put the car on bricks as well. I spent $40 to reduce the risk for damage. All a question of personal comfort level... |
Here is the current car I am working on at the present time......
