Is there a test for the windshield wiring?
I'm getting a broken windshield replaced today on my 2017 SL550 and was hoping there's a test to verify the wires inside the windshield.
Are there just heaters or other stuff too?
I have a Xentry setup.

This is something typically sourced, so not a lot of r231 specific info.
But, i’m going to bet that it would throw a code if any wiring issues were present. Scan the car right after installation of windshield.
I’m away from my shop so don’t have a copy of the WIS, which should have more info. But if you have XENTRY you probably have a copy of the WIS.
