ABC Pulsation Damper install question
I have read through thread after thread as to what the correct part number it is to order but I have 1 quick question.
Do you have to relieve pressure on the ABC lines/system before installing the new pulsation damper on the back of the ABC pump on the front of the engine? If so, what is the correct procedure?

Anyone looking to do this, you do NOT need to depressurize the system while replaceing the Pulsation damper that sits top front on the engine. it literally takes 5 minutes to replace. I did squirt some CHF 11s down into the damper with a syringe but I don't know if it's necessary.
My symptoms were vibration and whining that could be felt within the steering and footwell. It transmits down the hydraulic lines to the accumulator/pump area behind the driver side fender which can lead you to think the problem is in the accumulator. It's most likely not and the Pulsation Damper needs replacing. 5 minutes later, you are back up and running and now they ABC system is as smooth as silk! I replaced the fluid and filter a few weeks ago so it should be good to go for some time now.
