1980 280sl Worth buying?
Hi Everyone. New to these forums. I had a question on whether this 1980 280sl is worth buying. Car is in good working order, had almost $9000 in parts and work done on it by Mid Atlantic legend Norbert Lamp, no rust from what I can tell, drives solid, 150k, only major thing is that it is missing the hardtop. He wants $6750 for the car. I like that it is the straight 6 versus the V-8 and that it also has the euro bumpers. What are the pros and cons to owning this car and is the price a fair place to be at, thanks in advance!

I have a 450 of one of these and although I spent about 10K on it so far making it look good inside and out, it has been worth every penny. These cars are classic.
