I think I will be parting out my 1985 380SL. It has about 87K miles but more rust in the door sills and air box, etc that i'm willing to deal with in a restoration. It runs and drives. I also have many "new part" ready for installation like subframe and suspension parts that I have decided not to install. Looking on ebay there are at least $7000 in parts available. Car has never been wrecked but it was NY car (I found out later) and that is probably the reason for the rust under the car.. I have a good hardtop and hoist, trunk, hood, grill, front and rear bumper, rear lights, front lights, and many misc parts including working idle speed controller and many electrical parts that seem to be in high demand so before I start taking it apart and putting things on fleabay let me know if you want any parts. Also have a brand new set of tires on the wheels. The whole car is available too and could be driven from here in Beaufort South Carolina if you want the whole car I'm just too busy to take on a car that needs some work. If you want the complete car make an offer. The $7000 parts number is just based on parts that have sold on ebay and the cost of the new, uninstalled parts I have and are for a reference, not an asking price. I know its not going to sell for that. I'll get you pictures if you want.
