I have 1976 450slc that the torsion rods that support the trunk came out of the slots when I was removing the gas tank. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any clear steps on re-installing.
I did download a pdf with installation instructions supposedly for my model, but the images are old and hard to see and the layout isn't the same as my car. If anyone has clear steps on the install
process that they can point me to I would greatly appreciate it? Attached are pics of my trunk. I just don't know where the damn rods go:-) right side of trunk rod
