If it is a R107 it is not an SL280. It is a 280SL. As a non US model the year won't be anywhere on the vehicle. Do the import papers not show it? The only other way is to contact Mercedes. Your local dealer might be willing to provide it but I wouldn't count on it. The Classic Center in Irvine, California might also provide it. Lastly Mercedes USA will be able to do it but it will probably cost you. Lots of things that were free now have a price. EPC subscription was free for US residents now $75.00 per year. Data card that was free is now $150.00.

Interesting that the Wagon/ T-Modell is now a SUV and not a car. When we titled the MY19 wagon it can back as "Utility." I guess there are not enough wagons for the DMV to maintain a separate classification. But a good article. I expect my MY19 "wagon" will take care of my automotive needs well into the future. I have no expectation of living long enough to learn another set of gizmos.
