Best fuel grade
Hello new owner of a 380 1983
what grade of fuel is best for the engine (only e10 available here…) ethanol free is not an option
is regular fuel ok ?
any advantage in using super ?

I use 87 octane E10 in my '85. I know it is approved for 84 and 85 model years, not sure about 83. Check the owners manual, mine mentions it. For sure you do not need higher octane, the compression ratio is 8.3:1.
You can add some ethanol stabilizer to the fuel to help control the water absorbtion but since the ethanol can also degreade rubber parts you should also replace all the fuel hoses with E10 compatible parts.
