Noisy 280 sl
Hi everybody,
I am new to this rather new forum so let me introduce myself, my name is Javier and live in Madrid and i have just adquired a gorgeous looking light blue auto 79 280 sl.
Everything goes fine (for a 25 yr old that is) but the engine. She starts OK and basically does its job but pretty noisy and takes some time to rev. Noise comes from valve area and sounds like and old diesel. The car has only 140.000 Km, do not smoke and breaths through s/s pipes. It also has a high idling, some 2000 rpm on start up and 1000 once warmed.
Do you have any ideas so as to where to start looking to make her even more desirable??
