anyone know how to stop that damn warning when you leave a car equiped with keyless go?

The dealership service manager told me there is no way to turn it off, but so many owners have complained that Mercedes might introduce a fix.

My 2004 SL55 keyless go system stops sounding after approx. 3-5 minutes
with the drivers doar still open.

I had mine fixed by MBWerks via programming... no more chime but the Keyless Go still works! :y

Not something we have over here, thank goodness.

Was impressed to see a message on the dash saying "Keycard battery low" or some such. The card is apparently able to tell the car that its battery is low, because without it, of course, you cannot get into the car or drive. Still think it's a good idea to replace all these button cells once a year. With 4 cars, that a total of 28 batteries for me! Gets expensive...
