sl65 pricing?
 

As sonme of you guys kow I keep toying with the idea of selling my sl65 in hopes of somethig else. I am very close to getting the car tuned and just want to check before I do this what you think it would sell for. It is a 2005 cpo car with 10300 miles. Agean blue ext, every option but pano roof and has black ash wood, built in k40, renntech elm and 565whp stock. Let me know what you guys think I could sell it for. I wanted to sell it for like 125k but I dont think they are bringing that in but maybe I am wrong.

You know you want it Jay. I dont know what I am doing yet. I saw 2 lambos this weekend and they looked bad. I think for the right money I would sell it. We will see what I do.

2 things i can tell u about this car, first is I know the owner personally and he is a complete HP freak (like me) and cares immensely for his vehicles...second he has what i know to be the highest RWHP dyno for ANY stock 65 biturbo motor EVER!! This should be a stock car in the 10's on the right track:zoom:

Thanks Jay we will see what I do. I thought I would see what some of the MB guys thought the car should sell for before I decide to put it up on dupont or ebay. It seems as if I was thinking the same as the other guys in the 125k range. I need to decide what I am going to do fast as I am ready to tune it by next week and I am looking at something else. Come on Jay you could have the fastest 600 and the fastest 65!! :naughty:

Anything is possible if you attract the right buyer, but IMO you'd be very, very lucky to pull 125k out of any '05, regardless of mods. I've been looking for one for a couple of weeks, and there are quite a few going in the 105-110k range with 10k miles or less. And I'm still kicking myself for not buying one that sold on ebay yesterday for 86,400. That car did have 37k miles, but was also an Anniversary Pkg car with a 196k sticker and 10 yr/100,000 mi. warranty. The best thing about AMG's is driving them, and the worst thing is God forbid you decide to sell one. :(

OK guys looks as if one of the deals I was working on my pan out. If any one is interested in this car PM an offer and lets see what we can do. I will know 100% by the end of this week if the other deal goes through.
