If it seems to good to be true it must be. Or is it?
Maybe it's time for me to have a pair?

"I am selling it because i need money to pay some depts. If you are interested the BUY IT NOW price is $58,000.00"
WTF?
I pulled the carfax and it came back clean as a corporate fleet unit and titled in Oregon. I just cant see anyone selling a 65 for that much under market value right now? I wonder if the title was washed??

If someone needs cash fast from their car. What's the best way? If the car is legit a local dealer would pay more than that, on the spot. So obviously it's a scam. Or the seller is a moron. Do any of you know an SL65 owner who is a moron?

Got to be a scam. I counted about 10 similar listings in a 3 month period when I was looking for a Continental Bentley last year. Every time I notified E-bay, the listing would come down, in 2 or 3 days. In a week or two, another listing with a few of the details changed would pop up. Sucks if you're really an interested buyer, but in my experience, if it sounds too good to be true, it is

Also, the Ebay user listed may not have even listed the vehicle, don't be fooled by any feedback history, these guys use other legit Ebay id's all the time. Whatever, don't ever give these guys any personal info. I'll be interested what his response is, if any.

Xraes wins the prize:
"I must tell you that the problem faced until now with the selling of the car is that I've settled in Greece and the car is here with me. Still, the vehicle is registered in the States and has a clear title. The car drives and looks brand new and has an accident free history. The price for the car is $58,000 including shipping cots.I have a friend at a shipping company who will manage me a low shipping cost. My suggestion to end this deal is eBay services for the transaction."

No longer car shopping...
I wonder if....
Anyone has thought of creating a bogus ebay ID "simply" for the purpose of bidding on these BS "buy it now" auctions. Nothing would be better than for a scammer to see his "auction" end RIGHT AWAY with a BIN and then never be able to contact the bidder. I'd bid and then post eBay Feedback before the bogus seller even knew it had happened with something like "THIS IS AN EBAY SCAM, THE SELLER DOES NOT HAVE THIS CAR AND THE ACTUAL OWNER OF THIS ACCOUNT MAY NOT EVEN BE AWARE IT'S BEEN HIJACKED". That way we (the public) could help eBay police it's own listings. I think eBay even likes these kinds of ideas so maybe I'll send it to them to see if they would pay me money to do this for them...
