You'd better get them all back together again for a good high-res shot. We're all waiting. You've got something there that we can't beat. Just remember to include mom's red Gullwing!
All the Best

Oh.. I forgot to explane why all of them are red... Well, my dad bought his car around 1978, I was to young to decide on the color. For my R129 (SL320), I bought it used (around Sep 1996). And I didn't buy it for the color. It was the newest SL320 on the used market. But my Red Divel.. I liked that color. Or maybe I got used to red after all those years driving my Dad's and my R129. The interior of my Red Devil was the only option I had. When I made the order, I got 3 colors. Black (to hot for our weather), Light gray (too light color.. easy to get stains on), and red. So that is why all the cars are red. Defferent shade of red though..

It looks great in the red.
My mother had her fortune told here in the UK over 30 years ago and was told by the old witch "I see death in a red car" - which I have always ignored - red Supra, Nissan 300ZX TT, etc. Until a few years back.
As I got older and had kids I took red off the personal choices list. I am not supersticious (hell I probably can't even spell it!) but the speeds these things go at you need as much as possible in your favour!
I did have one of the few Black Ferrari's (but Red would have been great!).
Last SL was Almondine - I guess that's not red!

You can always pick which wheels you want at order time, I wanted those on my car also instead of the new twin-spoke AMG wheels that you see on the E55, CLK and CL (I have a 2003 eClass with the AMG kit) and those wheels. Also I believe SL55Lova was locating which dealer had one availabel and bought it without having to order it so if he wanted the multi-spoke he was out of luck cause this one came with the other style ..

Well my rim's story goes like this. First I ordered the k-style 5 hole rims. Just before 2 weeks of getting the car out of the factory, I change my mind to have the multi spoke. But he said it is too late. And he said that he ordered 19" AMG wheels on it. But after getting the car out of the factory he said that the 19" does not fit on the car (safety reasons). So he just installed the regular 18" AMG. I didn't have choice. Plus it is easier to clean.
