Help Changing SL55 filters!!

Good day everyone. I am looking at doing the oil change on my SL55 this week and will also be changing out the fuel filter. I wanted to change out any air filters that the car has but not sure how or where they are. Anything else I should change? (It says Service A)

Any help would be appreciated.

Air filters are in rectangular boxes on top of engine. Take off screws all the way around the boxes, filters are flat.

Are there any other air filters to change? I have heard of other air filters as well.

Passenger foot well, remove the paneling above the well area and you will see the two filter boxes.

I tried removing the air filters on top of the engine and removed all the screws arounf the box but do I also have to remove the connection to them because they would not come out. The covers would not come off. Any ideas or help here?

The cover should come right off if you removed all the screws.

There are a couple of screws in the back near the firewall that are hard to see; any chance you missed them?

I could be. I am going to take another look at it.

Thank you.
