SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Will there be 2010 Sl's
Is there any truth to this?
2010

Modification year 2009-1 involves a raft of new measures for the SL-Class: alongside the new model nomenclature, these mainly include two new paint finishes, the nappa leather trim for the leather and wood/leather steering wheels and a number of technical modifications.
Equipment changes
* Paint colour indigolite blue metallic (optional) replaces tenorite grey metallic
* Paint colour pearl beige metallic (optional) replaces cubanite silver metallic
* New model nomenclature: SL 300 replaces SL 280
* Standard steering wheel and wood/leather steering wheel (optional) with improved feel in nappa leather
* Electrically adjustable seats with Memory function (optional): now include the crash-responsive exit aid, which moves the seats rearwards automatically following a crash to make it easier to get out of the car
* Transmission control: car now always starts in the more fuel-efficient "C" setting, fuel saving of approx. 0.3 l/100 km, Memory function omitted
* Software update for NTG 2.5
* NTG 2.5: latest-generation TV tuner (optional)
How can there be another new body style SL???
Unless you mean the 2011 SL will be the updated 2009 style SL???
Ok im confused!
I am contemplating selling my 2008 M3 CAB and replacing it with a
2009 SL63/600
but if the SL is getting another model change? Whats the point might as well wait!
Exciting to see what the all-new SL will look like, and it'll probably have the latest Navi/Audio from the 2010 S-Class with lane-departure warning, night vision with pedestrian recognition, and all the latest and most high-tech stuff from Benz and AMG like newly designed suspension/chassis/brakes/transmissions... AMG redesigned everything,..etc... and ofcourse probably the latest direct-injection twin-turbo engines also...
When these come out... any predictions on what will happen to the used prices for a 2009 SL65?

To me that means the 2009 was a one year run which is a little silly and a completely new car will be introduced in Q1 2010 as a 2011 model year.
