Bought another car

I track a few times and after going to Porsche's 3 day High Performance Driving School I was hooked. Lets face it, while the V12TT is an amazing car, its just not built for the track. Yes you can track it but the laws of physics work against you (4600 lbs).

Enter the Porsche 911TT (996). Being hooked on HP, I was not going to settle for 430 horses and knowing darn well what it takes (Time and Money) to seriously mod a car, I decided to take a chance and buy a heavily modded, slightly used car. I pulled the trigger on one with a fully built motor with the EVO GT700, partial Techart aero kit (bumber & wing), PSS9 coil-overs fully adjustable race suspension and upgraded Brembos.

KIT DETAILS:
If your not familiar with EVO (Evolution Motor Sports), google them.
I'll post pics when I get back from the Texas Mile.

EVO Modified Garrett GT700 High Flow turbochargers
EVO Billet Diverter Valves
EVOMSit Proprietary GT700 Software
EVO / Milltek Sport Stainless Steel Exhaust w/ 100 Cell Catalysts
EVO V-Flow Air Induction System
EVO 41.5 mm Primary Tube Stainless Steel Headers
EVO / Sachs Stage 2 Clutch (Can use with Dual Mass Flywheel)
EVO Silicone Boost Hose Conversion w/ Diverter Valve "F" Hose
EVO High Flow Turbo Air Inlet Ducts (Aluminum)
EVO Braided and Fire Jacketed Fuel Line Upgrade Kit w/ Fuel Filter Kit, Adapters, Clips
EVO Modified Fuel Rails
EVO High Flow Fuel Injectors
Bosch Spark Plugs

NOTE: This kit involves the removal of your engine and requires up to 40 hours of time

The GT700 is a street drivable and reliable 700 HP. Our GT700 upgrade system not only addresses the engine and power output, but encompasses the entire vehicle performance. Having 700 HP on command is truly an exhilarating experience however can be very unsafe without the proper suspension and braking system.

techart bumper is being replaced so will have car n pics by mid April. car has file four run files; 93, 100, MS109, C16. I am told but have no dyno sheets to verify that the last file is good for 635 awhp. Yes thats leaded but 100 cell cats and the O2 can handle C16 in moderation.

Nice car soulsearcher! where did you find it...from Evo themselves or autotrader or something? I've always liked the 911TT...just finished instructing at a track event for Zone 2 PCA at VIR and many students had the 996 and 977 TT cars...very good on a roadcourse for sure.

Great track car especially if u re-do the suspension. TT have a soft oe setup but with the coil-overs and bigger sway bars, its hard to touch it...especially 700+ hp / 3400 pounds and a 6 speed (Still working on my heel-toe).

I found it at a dealer in Florida. They listed it on ebay but after two attempts it never hit the reserve (bidding ended 9k under buy-it-now). I called and offered 3k over ending bid and got it but asked that the GT2 bumper be replaced with a techart. They agreed. I paid well over what a stock ones are going for BUT well below what it would have cost me to mod it (Previous owner spent 50k on mods/verified by the receipts).

You are an HP junkie....I love it!! Love the 996 too, great choice for ***** out fun high hp sports car. On Friday at the TX2K10 Supra meet there was a 996TT (GT2) that pulled an impressive 732whp on the rollers, it was awesome!
