Passenger side light bulb replacement
I have 2006 SL65 and want to change the parking light and can't get too it. Seems as if the entire headlight assemble needs to come out. Anyone have instructions on how to remove the passenger side head light?
Thanks Todd |
If by parking light you refer to the small auxillary bulb in the 'inside-lamp' assembly, you should be able to get to the bulb by popping the black cover - just push the tab on the cover and you should see the back of the bulb holder. Its tight, maybe your wife has hands small enough to get to it.... :p:

Thanks, yes, I got access to that bulb, I'm referring to the orange bulb turn signal

Yes, that one is hard to get to also. They all are.

As I mentioned by PM - my MB tech had to take the whole headlight assembly out to swap the HID low beam and turn signal light. I tried for the better part of 2 hours to contort my hands without success. Worth every penny for the labor (which was pretty cheap for fog install and that evil light).

I did my LED turn signal while the headlight was on the car but for low beam I had to take it out to swap. It's hard but doable. :y
