HELP: Need part numbers embossed on Front Brake Caliper Adapter for SL65AMG-Standard
 

Hi all ,

I am updating my brakes to SL65AMG with 390mm Disks.

I have already purchased , and updated everything except for the front Calipers.

I purchased the Callipers privately ( new ) and as such without Adapters.
I am very much aware that MB Sell only the Calliper/Adapter as a complete part number.

Using my insider contacts I was able to purchase the adapters directly from AMG ( not an official channel ) ..... Unfortunately my contact sent me the callipers for the BLACK SERIES SL56AMG .....

To avoid further confusion I need to know the numbers on the original SL65AMG front Calliper Adapters.

Can someone with a SL65AMG look on the calliper adapter for all the numbers please ? ... The number 390 for 390mm should also be on the calliper.

Some Additional Info on my mod:-
Rear update was simple bolt on ... no adapters needed..... all R230's have the same knuckle.

My research with EPC gave the following info when converting any R230

All R230 have the same knuckle (excepting Black Series)

The non AMG models (i.e 280, 350 , 500 )
- Have smaller holes and thinner bolts for on the knuckel where the adapter is mounted ( 12,5mm hole size , 12mm dia bolts)
- part numbers A211 330 3620 / 211 330 3720 for the knuckle
- You only need to get the holes drilled larger to have a "AMG" knuckle, and then just bolt on any AMG R230 Calliper.

AMG models (55 , 63 65 )
- Have larger holes and bolts on the knuckles ( 14,5mm holes , 14mm bolts )
- part numbers A211 330 6620 / A211 330 6720

Brake Adapter has the dimensions as per diagram attached.

The red color and adapters pictured below are for a "Black Series" R230 (390mm Disk) Adapter. The inner (blue) holes is for a standard (both AMG or non AMG) holes since the middle of the holes are measured.

NOTE : You can see the "390" on the adapter . This is for 390mm disks where the height is larger. i.e each adapter has the horizontal dimensions the same , but different height dimensions to provide for disk sizes.

Those numbers you see on th Adapter is what I desparately need from a SL65AMG or SL63AMG with Performance Package (code 030). These models should have 390mm front disks for late manufacture.

I would assume that you could get a vin for a SL65 off eBay and have your local dealership parts department look up the part using the vin. They should be able to pull up the exploded view of the assembly with part numbers.
