Proper wheel offset Sl65

I have found a set of 20" wheels I like for my SL 65. The fronts are 9" wide with 255/30/20 MPS tire. The wheel is ET 23. I think stock is 32. Will this tire and wheel combo work without rubbing? My car is standard height.

I think you should pick best wheels that will fit for your car so that it will last long. Hence you should take your car to a best car repair center for necessary requirements or required size wheels for your car. Can get some more relevant information about repair center from here
Proper wheels will be make the car running smoother and secure.

i was told the front needs to be ET25 for that sized tire, still waiting for others to confirm this. i wouldnt think 2mm difference would cause any rubbing issues, but thats me assuming? i have posted the same question, but for the rear wheels/tires.

If this helps, I have 20" BBS CH-R's that are 20x9 Front with 255/30-20 and 20x10.5 Rear with 305/25-20. BOTH front and rear offets are ET25. Fit is perfect with no rubbing.

I used the tire and offset calculator to run the numbers and you should be good

Your stock wheels and tires are:

Front 8.5 x 19 with 30mm offset
Rear 9.5 x 19 with 31 mm offset

Tires
Front 255 35 19
Rear 285 30 19

If you're moving to wheels
Front 9 x 20 with 23mm offset

Tires
255 30 20

You can confirm by using this wheel and tire offset calculator https://mbworld.org/forums/tire_rim_calculator.php

In your case when I ran your stock set up versus your new set up you have .65mm additional inner clearance (not likely to rub), while your outer position is extended by 13.35mm (just over 1/2" if I remember my conversion table correctly.)

Your diameter is good, it is the same as stock.

This all means you should be good if you haven't lowered your vehicle. This calculation was just for the front as I didn't see your rear tire and wheel measurements. Chances are if they are a set you shouldn't need to worry. Use the calculator above though and it will give you the differences.

Hello. You have 20'' rims with ET 25?
I am looking for rims AXE EX20 for my SL 500 R230.
Front: 8.5x20 ET25
Rear: 10x20 ET25

Is this possible for my car?
Thanks

should be ok 25 to 35 are usable unless wheel has shape that would touch brake, then going up 25-30-35 as necessary

No, you're leaving a lot of room to be wider. Fronts should be 9 and the rears at a minimum should be 10.5 and up to 11.5. I'm on 20x9 et21 front and 20x11 et31 rear I sit almost perfect. Tires are 265/30 front and 305/25 rear and lowered, without lowering I'd run a 305/30 rear.
