SL-63: Air from top of dash
This is regards an SL-63 AMG.
In front of the clock on the top of the dash is what appears to be a grill. If the AC is on then cold air appears to come out of that grill. I can barely feel this air and it is not controlled by the Grill adjustment wheels below it on the front of the dash. The grill does not look like an air vent but more like an audio speaker grill.
On a humid day this causes a circular "fog" spot to appear on the windshield just above the clock. Is this proper?
It has been like this since the Dealer removed the clock assembly to install two LEDs for a radar detector. Perhaps during the installation the AC ducting was disturbed.
Any advice appreciated.

Yes that is an air vent in front of the clock - there should be airflow w/ climate control on. There is also a center fill speaker built into that assembly.
In your 63 the center airflow thumb wheel should also control airflow to that vent and the two round center vents below it
