SL65 AMG crankshaft bearings and connecting rods bearings

Hello all,

I am rebuilding SL65 AMG Engine and looking for complete set
of crankshaft bearing (12 pcs) and connecting rod bearing
(24 pcs).

Since I am building my block and will polish the crankshaft, I am looking for size 10 bearing, which is one step above mercedes benz standard size.

Anyone can help in this or where can I find custom made bearings.

Regards

If all you're going to do is polish the crankshaft and not have it machine turned, then just stick with std size bearings. The polish job will remove only .0002-.0005 inch of material which is preferable to keep that extra clearance in an engine that will be used for high performance.

There are multiple bearing shells available identified by the color of the side stripe so that you can tailor the clearance to your preference.

I checked with the workshop, they said they will machine the crankshaft, this is why they ask for one step above the standard size (size 10). Can you tell me from where I can get this size?

Thanks
