07 SL500 headlight issue - thanks !
07 SL500. Passenger side headlight is dim? Very dim? About half as bright as the driver's side.
Question. Do I fix 1 or both? Is there an upgrade bulb or bulbs that are brighter or " whiter " or " better " HID ?
Is the issue the bulb or head lamp? Its on just dim and somewhat distorted?

Thanks - is there an upgrade ? Would like to have better if there is better ? Aftermarket? Or Mercedes OEM upgrades available? Would like to have better if there is such a thing.
Also I work for the Hendrick Automotive Group in a somewhat upper level management position if anyone on the forums needs assistance as we own several MB dealerships.

You should already have oem xenon, so no need for an HID conversion. As suggested, try swapping bulbs left and right to see if the issue follows the bulb or stays with the socket. If it stays with the bulb, you have a bad bulb and need to replace. I'd replace both bulbs, not just one to keep the same color as HID bulbs will kelvin shift as they age. You need D2S bulbs... We carry top end Morimoto replacement bulbs if interested in a few color options.

Yes he can just buy new bulbs to replace bad ones, but if you want to convert other lights like hi beam or fog to hid you need the kits for each set.
