So I started the so called dreaded 82mm throttle body replacement on my sl55 Friday and everything has gone very well up to this point as I still have everything apart because I figured it's a good time to do other things like valve cover gaskets, s/c oil,etc but when I pulled my fuel rack and got ready to change the o-rings out I noticed that these little fiber washers on the injectors were broke any suggestions could not find any washers by themselves or do I just by new injectors

you can find the "rebuild" kits at auto parts stores, all over eBay, amazon and I'm sure various site sponsors. The parts are available individually through mercedes as well.
im not certain on the sl55 injector type, can you take a picture of the part number? they appear to be "ev6" style with the jetronic connector (larger and rectangular).
for example go to eBay and search "Bosch injector rebuild kit" and you will find hundreds, with the orings, washers, pintle caps where applicable, filters, etc. Purchase a quality kit for your injector type.

dealer should have them in stock

you might look up bosch injectors on web and find a dealer that sells those and parts for them. I know on porsche 928 , 944 the injectors look the same and kist are available from different sellers

awesome, that is definitely a Bosch injector, what is normally referred to as an "EV6"

Search for "Bosch ev6 kit" online and you will find hundreds of options. They look to be around $15-20 on eBay with everything you need.

Woodpecker1 02-16-2018 09:07 AM

Yep I already got them on order through ebay thanks again for your help

chean the injector all over with a carb cleaner, assemble the orings with wd40 and they will easily insert into the body. if you have access to a injector tester, you can fire them and check the pattern. but if the car was running good before they are probably fine
