Header install... how many hours?
Hello fellow wrenchers,
Can anyone who installed their own headers give me a ballpark on how many hours the job was?

On my 2003 E500, an Indy mechanic who used to work for Renntech and had already performed the same job several times took about three hours to install Eurocharged mid-lengths. That doesn't include welding in of the downpipes, which had to be done at a muffler shop and took another two hours.

First time it will probably take you a good 5-6 hours if it goes fairly smoothly and don't be surprise it ends up taking 8 hours.
There is some DIY threads/videos around the internet for the M113K that help some but generally the time it takes comes down to how easy the bolts come off and the right tools around your shop.
