Headlights won't turn off!!!

I have been having some electrical issues recently. Most notably I have been dealing with the infamous "Convenience functions not available" issue every once every other day it seems.
The car only has 70K miles on it.

-I replaced the voltage regulator
-Went to AutoZone and they say the front battery is 100% and the rear battery is 87% so no issue there.

Most notably the issue I have is that the front lights of the car won't turn off when the car is on. As in even if i move the dial to turn the lights off they stay on. Not sure what's causing this issue or how to fix it but I imagine it's all tied together here. Any help wold be appreciated greatly! Thanks

SOLVED!!!

DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS WERE ON. Turned them off and now the lights don't stay on. Not sure if it solves the rest of my electrical issues, but that can do on another thread.

The conv functions should be the rear battery. How did they test it? Did they do it in the car, or did you pull the battery out?

they used one of those tested devices and just put it on the terminals while it was still inside the trunk

Why would you want to turn off your daytime running lights? It's a safety feature that can help make it easier for others to see the front of your vehicle during the day.

Is it possible it was reading the front battery at the same time? I would think it needs to be completely disconnected

Service battery when down , plays havoc with all your equipment , also the lights .
Best bet is to change it . If car is used randomly , they last between 1/2 years only .
If you're lucky :)

UPDATE to all: i was replacing all my interior lights with LED versions and discovered the light that looks down at passenger feet was short circuiting. bulb was hot but not turning on. moved the metal case to fix and boom light turns on again. pretty sure that was the culprit draining my power.
