SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: I’ve checked everywhere, different abc issue!
80k miles, full maintenance history everything’s up to date.
my only concern is as follows:
•You can park the car for a week without any sagging, system holds pressure, no leaks nothing, all good.
•Start the car no issues no sagging no problems
•put it in drive all good, reverse all good
•once you’ve moved the car at all, the driver rear drops down, red “abc to low warning” appears.
•I know it’s not recommended but my street is very straight and smooth so if you drive to about 15mph, the driver rear lifts, red abc light goes away and white abc service message appears, no more problems the rest of the trip no matter how long you drive or stay idle
•once you turn it off again, it stays correct height, but repeates the process after every startup regardless of time between startup.
anyone have any recommendations?
I know star diagnostic is our friend but I don’t have access this week, and I’ve basically memorized the abc troubleshooting guide from blogspot at this point but it doesn’t seem to be within any of these issues.
just to throw this out there, I bought this car as a repo, and the first day it didn’t do it at all.
i purchased thinking I needed the rear “systems” battery but realized it didn’t have one at all,
had a new genuine battery installed in the rear, and had star diagnostic clear all my low voltage codes that where stored, and all was good, after that is when this began to happen,
if I’m missing anything important let me know and I’ll clarify more
please anyone with knowledge on this I’ll even buy you a steak dinner lol just want this fixed it’s a daily cringe every time I have to do it
