2004 Sl55 wheels and tires size ???
Hi everyone,
I just got a 2004 Sl55 a few days ago.( my first one
)Right now it sits in my garage, all stock, ready for some upgrades. I want to start with a new set of wheels and tires. I have an account with GoodYear and I’m thinking to go get some tires from them. Any feedback on GoodYear ? I want to use the car from Spring to Fall, no Winter. As for the wheels I’ve seen some from Niche that I like. Any other brand to consider? Now for the big question: what size??? I've seen some pictures with Sl55 on 20’s, but to me it looked that they might have some rubbing issues, especially in the front. I like the look of 20’s but ... should I be worried of rubbing... or should i go with 19” ??? Any feedback if gladly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your feedback . A friend of mine suggested 19 wheels in front and 20 in the back. Not sure if that will work but 19 all around sounds ok to me. I've seen some videos from FischerFast and he always had 20 on. They do look good but then he had rubber bands on the wheels . I assume the ride quality will be pretty rough with those set-ups. I will look at these tires too...
